All bike fits are performed using Retül 3D Motion Capture System. The system reads the rider’s movements while they are in motion on the bike, and accounts for all three planes of movement (3D) down to < 1mm. It gives a complete and objective picture of the rider’s biomechanical data in real time and eliminates the guesswork and assumptive nature of static bike fits. The result is that the rider will have a true fit, maximizing efficiency and performance while avoiding discomfort or injury.
Bike coordinates will be measured and recorded using The Zin, Retül’s handheld digitizer to digitally measure the bike at 13-15 points. The Zin can measure fixed points, contours and curves, and provides a complete digital map of the bike.
Fit data will be saved and stored. The data includes rider’s profile, specific data and measurements from the fit, bike measurements and the rider’s final fit position. A copy of the report will be sent via email to the client.
